Hapag-Lloyd AG automates its Cash Allocation Processes with the Hanse Orga‘s FinanceSuite
At Hapag-Lloyd AG, a leading global liner shipping company, all postings in the general ledger accounting as well as AP/AR accounting were performed manually in the past.
These manual processes were time-consuming and expensive, and resources could not be used in an optimal way. The complex structure and the size of the group demanded standardized processes around the globe and thus a solution that could be used internationally.
The requirements the global use of the future software brought about were high, additional functionalities to the ones provided in the SAP standard were needed. This was the determining factor in Hapag-Lloyd AG decision to use the Hanse Orga FinanceSuite AutoBank Automatic Cash Application. The complete integration of the software in SAP also has the benefits that the existing SAP installation can be used to avoid interfaces with external systems.
